WHAT IS UPLIGHTING?
Uplighting is a way to accent the architecture and walls in your wedding ballroom, barn or outside your wedding venue. Wedding and event Uplighting should not be confused with dance floor lighting. Dance floor lighting typically moves and changes based on the music and is pointed mainly at the dance floor (Think of a nightclub). Wedding Uplighting is decorative and adds an ambiance to the room that provides a really elegant feel.
Uplighting also should not be confused with venue room lighting which is mainly used to brighten up the venue vs add color like uplighting is used for. WHY IT ADDS VALUE
Think of wedding uplighting as a way to bring in your wedding colors or accent those colors within your room decor. Uplighting adds a sense of elegance that is hard to come by with other traditional forms of decorating, and it’s very cost effective compared to most other ways of decorating a room. If the bridesmaid dresses are blue, then maybe a complimentary color like yellow would be a good idea for the walls for your wedding uplighting. If you are having a barn wedding and it’s just too dark, maybe using amber up-lighting on the wood beams will bring out the warm wood tones. Any way you look at it – wedding uplighting will make your venue and wedding pictures look even way better then you can already imagine it to be.
PRICING & WHAT'S INCLUDED
Pricing is easy and isn’t based on a certain type of event. You may not need a DJ or photobooth for your wedding or event, but you want the uplighting. I can provide that for you and would love to hear from you if you think just the uplighting is needed for your event.
If you are wanting to add the uplighting to the DJ service or photobooth service that’s just as easy as I add the cost of the uplighting to the overall total of your wedding or event contract.
Either way the cost is the same as I just charge a flat rate to provide your event with the lighting. I can do anywhere from 4 lights if it’s a small room all the way up to 24 for bigger rooms and venues.
The price for the uplighting service for an entire day depends on how many lights you need. Pricing starts at $350 and goes up from there. That includes all set up, tear down, and travel within 30 miles of Missoula.
